Annual Pledge Drive

Last Sunday was a historic day in the life of our congregation! We introduced our next minister, Rev. Ali K.C. Bell, to great enthusiasm. We can’t wait to welcome him to BVUUF. And we can’t thank our Ministerial Search Team enough for their hard work to bring us this match.

But before Rev. Ali arrives, we have some unfinished business to address. We are short more than $40,000 in pledges toward our 2026-27 goal. That’s $40,000 in programs that won’t be funded, wages that won’t be paid, building upkeep that won’t be done.

There are various reasons why we’re not at goal, among them the fact that some of our long-time supporters no longer attend the Fellowship. Others have had to hold the line on or even reduce their pledges because of tough financial times. And – the biggest reason – that pledge form has slipped to the bottom of a pile for some of you, just waiting to be rediscovered and submitted.

Regardless, we want to start this new era for BVUUF on solid financial footing…funding our future, not making budget cuts that take us backward.

Increase Your Pledge – If you have the capacity, consider increasing your pledge. This is one of those years when, if you can do a little more (or a lot), it will make a big difference in keeping the ‘Ship afloat.
