Resilience and love sound easy, but they take a lot of courage in order to follow through. Today, the Rev. Angela Henderson and service associate Karin Griglak will lead you through what that means and looks like.
Our BVUUF pulpit welcomes Reverend Angela Henderson, who serves as Chaplain for Bridges UU, a nonprofit that supports small UU communities through collaboration and shared resources. Rev. Angela has a strong background in hospital chaplaincy and has served as Director of Spiritual Care for Dignity Hospice of Colorado. She has also served as an interim and contract minister in California and Texas.
As a chaplain, Rev. Angela provided spiritual care and crisis support to patients, families, and staff. As a congregational minister, she led worship, worked close with congregants and local interfaith partners to build churches inside while providing public witness in social justice outside UU churches and our denomination.
