Rev. Barbara Coeyman and Service Associate Kelly LoGuidice join in celebrating Mother Earth and humanity. Easter season is associated with many renewals and many resurrections, and it is honored through a variety of rituals that welcome the awakening of both. In this week when we also celebrate Earth Day, we turn to Mother Earth, who can guide us toward a gift economy, awakening our souls to new dimensions of gratitude for the planet’s abundance. Ecobotanist Robin Wall Kimmerer is among our sources of inspiration for new perspectives on abundance and reciprocity.
In addition to our Music Director, Tad Koriath, on piano, and songleader Jennie Berstein, our celebration also features Derrick Rassinier, guest French hornist, playing works from Glazunov, Valerie Coleman and other composers.
