This week we take inspiration from the phenomenon of Storycorps, Rosenberg’s Compassionate Communication, and Buddhist practices of self-emptying to prepare ourselves to participate in the Fellowship’s Listening Circles. As our BVUUF Covenant suggests, “our differences are a source of deep learning and spiritual growth”; but we must listen to each other with careful attention if that learning and growth take place with a loving spirit. May our mantra be, “Listening is an Act of Love.” Led by Service Associates Clare-Marie Wall and Eric Williams.
