Grounded in our monthly theme, “Pay Attention,” Pastor AJ Blackwood and service associate, Michaela Sievers, will lead our service “We Wake Up Together,” inviting us to reflect on how we remain present in the moment. We will share a special musical offering that will help set the tone for the month of attentiveness reminding us that awakening is not a solitary act, but something we do together.
Our BVUUF pulpit welcomes Pastor AJ Blackwood, who serves as the Community Minister of The Mountain Top BIPOC Community and Coordinator of UUs for Racial Justice CO UUs for Racial Justice. Pastor AJ has a strong background in community organizing and creating spaces that uplift and center the stories and lives of historically marginalized people both in and out of our UU communities.
