Mission: The BVUUF Immigration Action Team supports and responds to the needs of our local immigrant community through direct action, advocacy and by educating and raising awareness within the BVUUF community.
Planned activities include offering trainings such as Know Your Rights, Family Preparedness, how to support immigrants in need, and plan hands-on activities including attending rallies and vigils, letter writing, and speaking out.
Vision: BVUUF will be a culturally informed space where all community members know they belong and are welcomed in order to obtain support, fellowship, and resources. BVUUF will be part of a county wide coalition of groups that advocate for justice for all immigrants in our community and beyond.
