Leadership Development Committee

The Leadership Development Committee is elected by the congregation to ascertain the leadership needs of the Fellowship, nominate candidates for elected leadership positions, and present the slate prior to the Annual Business Meeting in the spring.  LDC maintains an inventory of member skills and interests and works to develop the leadership capabilities within the Fellowship. To that end, the Committee shares information about workshops/classes, especially those offered by the UUA; offers a Leadership Workshop in the fall for elected leaders, chairs of committees and councils and all interested members; and convenes a forum in the spring for elected leaders and chairs of committees and councils to promote collaboration, relationship building and communication. 

LDC is made up of six people in addition to the former Board President who serves as an ex-officio member. The Minister communicates regularly with LDC in relation to leadership needs and development.
