Spiritual Exploration for Children and Youth
BVUUF 1241 Ceres Drive, Lafayette, CO, United StatesChildren and youth are invited to explore what is meaningful to them through play, craft, and deep discussion. Join us as we create community and engage with social justice. Groups for children and youth aged 2.5 and up are offered at 10:00 a.m. on most Sunday mornings during the service.

Glitter Blessing
Coming out happens once and then keeps happening: at a new job, a new congregation, a family table, a bathroom mirror. Each time a person lets the truest thing about themselves take up room in the world it takes courage. This Sunday we celebrate that courage. We also honor the courage of those who stay in, who guard their truth carefully to keep themselves safe and carry it faithfully until safer times arrive. Both paths are brave, and both belong here. We will celebrate with a glitter blessing, a sparkling reminder that every one of us arrives already luminous. Come as you are, and bring someone who needs to hear it.

In Praise of Banned Books
This interactive service will immerse us in the joy of reading. Service Leaders, Rev. Ali K.C. Bell and Nicolette Touisant will lead us through an engaging service in celebration of Banned Book week (October 4-10th). We invite everyone to bring their favorite Banned Book. During the service we will share them with each other and what they mean to us. Together we will create a story about books. Don't have a banned book? Check one out at your local library or borrow one of ours.
